​Oracle was established in 1977 and now operates in over 145 countries around the world, including Oracle Israel, which was created in 1996.

Oracle is the biggest supplier of organizational data management software in the world.

In 2010 Oracle had completed the purchase of Sun Microsystems, an acquirement that established Oracle’s standing as a meaningful player in the world of Java and as Microsoft’s biggest competitor. Oracle Israel deals with marketing, sales, support, implementation and system training, databases, application servers, development tools, middleware solutions, ERP and CRM solutions, the world of business intelligence, internet, intranet and other solutions. During the years of activity in Israel, Oracle had expanded its customers list in over 2000 companies, while the number of developers using Oracle technologies in Israel has increased to over 10,000 developers.
