Dave West, a senior analyst at Forrester, recently visited Israel and was exposed to the development activity by Matrix Global for the American iBasis company in a unique model and a fixed price. West particularly acknowledged the distributed agile work model, in which Matrix Global specializes, and mentioned that the offshore activity on the agile model with a predetermined budget is a direct result of creative thinking from the stages of planning and design, full cooperation with the customer and a high level professionalism.
Matrix Global provides development services, manual testing and automation for iBasis for over 5 years, while using a variety of end technologies, such as: QTP, Liferay Portal, RIA, J2EE, etc. iBasis is one of the world’s leading providers of VOIP (voice over IP), which specializes in low-cost international calls and additional services, such as: prepaid calls and data services for cellular operators.
