Matrix's multilingual Tafnit ERP system for medical centers now supports variety of languages

02/03/2009

Matrix upgraded the Tafnit ERP system designed for medical centers and hospitals, turning it into a multilingual system that supports varietyof languages using the Roman & cryllic  alphabet (English, French, German, Spanish, russian, etc.), in addition to arabic alphabet.  Organizations that use any of these languages can now run Tafnit in their native language.

Tafnit is the most comprehensive ERP system available in Israel for the management of medical centers and hospitals. The system is operating successfully at numerous sites, including the Sheba Medical Center, Assuta Medical Centers, Laniado Hospital, Assaf Harofe Hospital, Ichilov Hospital, Bikur Holim Hospital, Maaianey Hayeshua Hospital, Herzlia Medical Center, the new Presidential Hospital in Equatorial Guinea, the Jacoby, Bellevue, and Kings County hospitals in New York, and more. Currently the system is being installed at the Barzilay Hospital in Ashkelon, where Matrix has won the project to computerize the hospital.

The system contains four main modules: financial management, logistics/operational management, appointment scheduling, and patient management (ATD).

According to Menachem Nissenboim, Director of the Business Systems Division at Matrix, "the need to upgrade Tafnit to support a range of European languages arose when we began to sell and deploy the system at medical centers abroad. Following our first forays outside Israel, we executed a quick and efficient move to upgrade the system so that it supports any language using the Roman & cryllic  alphabet. This development expands substantially the sales potential of the Tafnit system, and we are now prepared to participate in any medical tender at centers that use the Roman & cryllic alphabet."
